Underseebootwaffa

I keep hearing rumors about U-boats and Yankee subs being added to NF...which befuddles me...anyway.\
If these subs are added to the game in what I hear is September, this may change the way we as a fleet, as well as each person plays. I have a wide database of submarines from WWII, and frankly...its scares me.

Launching Attacks then disappearing beneath the waves...and, to boot, they "hear father then they can see" at times. I consider them threats at any point and time, especially later war German U-boats with their limited, but effective "Sound king"...you can guess what that does...and the fact that they have no visible steam trails.

anyway, my major point and question is: Are they or are they not adding subs? Just to help me and perhaps a few others with this problem? eh?

well, they've only been talking about it since beta, so it better be the most balanced update they have.

None the less, I believe that any attempt to add subs is...a bad idea...subs were not really supposed to be used in battle...more or less a hit and run tactic of the sea, and the germans as well as the Japanese used them for disrupting allied shipping...although there are examples of them being used and supposedly being used (Operation Rheinbung aiding the Bismarck with a u-boat, and I think there were escorts for that mammoth of a Japanese battle ship) in battles and or in skirmishes...only ones that used them in battle actively i think were the Russians...and those leaked as well as functioned poorly...just a thing to consider for a fleet: Do what Hitler didn't do...put more thought in out underwater friends and foes. Just makes me wonder what there layout for a type XXI would be for NF...
